Vittal was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2001, he moved to Eugene, where he attended North Eugene High School. He earned his B.A. degree in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Oregon in 2009.
Vittal attended Lewis & Clark Law School from 2010-2013, where his studies focused on litigation, business law, and contracts. From 2011-2012, he worked in the felony and misdemeanor division of the Washington County District Attorney's office, where he was responsible for researching and drafting motions and memorandums. This allowed him to acquire extensive experience in trial preparation.
Vittal then worked in the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic as a Certified Legal Intern from 2012-2013, where he gained considerable experience representing clients in court proceedings and conducting successful settlement negotiations in landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, and family law cases. These cases involved lawsuits, divorces, restraining orders, custody and support agreements, rental agreements, chapter 7 bankruptcy, and creditor/debtor protection laws.
Vittal was admitted to the Oregon Bar in October 2013, and began working as a Judicial Court Clerk at the Clackamas County Circuit Court, where he further refined his skills in researching and drafting legal documents. He married his childhood friend, Rupal, in December 2013. They frequently visit Vancouver with their parents, who are long-time best friends.
Eugene Legal now welcomes Vittal as a full staff attorney. He specializes in Family Law, Business Law and Bankruptcy Law. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, watching sports with friends and family and volunteering for the youth program at the BAPS Temple in Tigard.
